The IBM Informix Warehouse feature includes the ability to:
- Leverage your existing Informix investment with technology you know.
- Manage your databases from a central Web-based console.
- Load data from various data sources (Informix and other) into one repository.
- Use a reporting tool such as Cognos to access data.
After a brief overview of the data warehouse design process and the Informix Warehouse Feature, we will demonstrate how the Informix Warehouse Feature toolset can be used to generate physical data models, create data flows to define the extraction and load rules of tables, and finally create control flows to execute these rules.
One Point will also reveal how an Informix Warehouse appliance coupled with a BI reporting solution that can jump-start your Data Warehousing and BI efforts. The presentation/demo will go for 45 minutes, followed by a Q&A session.
